Purposely designed as the ultimate everyday pocket carry workhorse, this version of the Merchant Folder has a standard curved blade shape that allows for smooth cutting and is made entirely here at Toor Knives, in San Diego, CA. With an extra-high bevel grind that provides plenty of sharpening life, this frame lock folding knife uses premium 6al-4v titanium precision-machined handle scales with a CPM S35VN blade. We custom-make every screw and back spacer in our manufacturing facility, also using 6al-4v titanium. The blade rides on phosphor bronze washers giving it a smooth controlled folding action and our signature high-ride titanium pocket clips allow the knife to sit higher in the pocket for quicker deployment.

Overall, a very well built

Overall, a very well built knife. Quality materials and workmanship. I have to give four stars for two minor issues though. The thumb stud unscrewed in my pocket on day two, but was easily remedied with some blue Loctite. Out of the box, the edge was not shaving sharp, which surprised me for a knife with a price tag over $100. Of course, this was also simple to fix with stones and a strop. Well worth the money, looking forward to carrying it for some time.

Immediately upon receiving knife I

Immediately upon receiving knife I noticed what seem to be wear on the clip as if it's been used. I moved passed it convincing myself that it will be a user anyway. Then I start to carry it for a couple days and noticed that the blade has play going up and down as if the lock bar is little to short, and it may be so because also when I go to close the knife I and easily without any effort at all move the lock. I don't know if it's a preference issue, but I do prefer my lock bars to lock snug to prevent any accidental closures. Overall disappointed with the knife and will be seeking a replacement.
