Had my eyes on this tent for years. I recently ordered one and haven’t had a chance to use it yet but am very excited to . My only issue was that I had to pay $138 in duties and tax to ship it from the US to Canada. One of the main reasons I purchased the tent is to support a fellow Canadian and to ship it from the US made the purchase significantly more expensive. Buy once, cry once, I guess. Received the Durston X-Mid 1P Solid UL a couple of weeks ago and haven't yet had the chance to do a full life review, but took it out for an initial set-up, and while I expected some shuffling to and fro in order to get the perfect rectangle the set-up was incredibly straightforward and I had the tent standing solid in 2+ min on the first set-up, very impressive. I love the geometry of the X-Mid and can't wait to hit the next trail and sit out the next foul weather patch to test its solid claims!

I've brought it on 3 trips now (all of varying lengths) and it is the best tent I have ever owned. It is actually so simple to set up! I was skeptical at first because I this tent was my first trekking pole tent, but because it is a trekking pole tent it is probably one of the easiest tents I have ever set up (after some practice). with that being said I extremely recommend practicing pitching the tent multiple times and try and do it in different location so you can find out what terrain will work well and what terrain will result in a slopy pitch. I really recommend this tent it is truly amazing.

The Durston X-Mid 1P is perfect! Light, spacious, and easy to set up! I would recommend this tent.

Quality and good price only thing I would change is a reversible clip.

Just used them for the first time on a section hike of the AT. Poles overall performed great!. I wish the straps stayed tighter but overall they were extremely comfortable and sturdy especially for the price!
