Versatile Lightweight Trekking Pole Supported Shelter
Innovation and purpose-driven design are at the helm of our minimalist, 3-season shelter system, so you can spend more time roaming the wild and less time restricted by the weight of your gear. As our lightest tent shelter in the line, the High Route 1 is a 38-ounce, non-freestanding system that utilizes trekking poles for overhead height — or can simply be used as a versatile ground tarp on its own. With a laundry list of features for its weight and size class, including a covered gear closet and removable floor and bug screen, the High Route tent is just as easy to set up as it is to compresses into a stuff sack that’s nearly the size of a 1-liter Nalgene bottle, making it an intuitive option for fastpacking, bikepacking and ultralight trips.
  • Versatile Tarp or Tent Configuration
  • Off Set Poles and Vertical Walls = 1 Person Palace
  • Oversized Volume for More Livable Space
  • Compresses to slightly larger than a Nalgene bottle
  • Simple, Intuitive, Fast Pitch
  • Garage Door Gear Closet

Light, roomy, small

Used multiple times in summer of 2023 throughout the Colorado Rockies, Several nights at alpine lakes. Very very happy with the purchase. Kept everything dry in a torrential storm at tree line. Quick and easy to set up, but there is a little bit of a learning curve to get it perfect, so practice before getting on the trail. Plenty of room in the nest for and extra-long, extra wide pad. Vestibules give just enough room to keep the odds and ends dry. Compresses small, and one of the lightest double-wall tents available that is not made from dynema. 100% would purchase again no hesitation.

Great for the price.

This is a solid tent and I mostly like it and will definitely be using it for the next few years. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a lot of room for stashing wet or soiled gear outside of the interior sleeping/bug-netted area.

Even when everything is guyed out, you still don't have more than about 6" of covered space on either side of the tent for storage of wet/soiled gear. It can easily be made to work regardless, but it's just a fact that there are more expensive tents that use a similar design while achieving much larger storage areas.
