THE MORDAX RETURNS IN MAGNACUT
The Mordax Button Lock quickly became one of the most popular models from Pro-Tech Knives based in Artesia, California. Along with the smaller Malibu Button Lock, the Mordax found a unique stature in the knife community by striking a balance of premium materials, notable design, and button-lock fidgeting goodness that only non-automatic knives can provide. After a long hiatus, the full sized Mordax is back with a vengeance: Magnacut Super Steel blade and milled aluminum handles in blue or black. As with all Pro-Tech drops, inventory is extremely limited and will go quick. Strike while the irons are hot – claim a Mordax for your collection.
HEAVYWEIGHT STATURE, LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION
Measuring 8.125 inches long, the Mordax is a full sized folder with enough heft and strength to get the job done. Despite its size, the knife weighs less than 4 ounces thanks to the aluminum scales. That lean construction makes it easy to control in tight spaces—not to mention there’s a finger choil for choking up if the job requires it. The 3.5-inch drop-point blade is as versatile as they come, whether you need to slice through cardboard, cut twine, or prepare food. Fitted with a deep-carry stainless steel pocket clip, the knife keeps a low profile.
