This is easily one of the sharpest knives I’ve ever used. I got it for a backcountry mule deer hunt and was blown away by how clean and easy the cuts were, even through tough hide. The precision of the Havalon blade is surgical, which made skinning, gutting, and caping way faster than with my older fixed-blade knives. One thing I’d caution is to be very careful when changing blades—they are so sharp, even the slightest mistake can lead to a nick or cut. I’d recommend using gloves or the included blade removal tool. All in all, a great value for the performance you get. Lightweight, reliable, and sharp every time.
