The American custom knifemaker, Lucas Burnley embodies the idea of Japanese Kihon with the design of the Boker Plus Kihon DC . The term originally encompasses the fundamentals and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley implements in the down-to-earth, solid everyday knife. Its features and straightforward design are evidence of its high practicality and give the knife an ideal basis for everyday cutting tasks. The satin-finished drop-point blade made from the edge-retention and highly corrosion-resistant Nitro-V opens silky smoothly via the removable thumb stud thanks to the ball bearings, while the slide-lock of the crossbar lock guarantees intuitive, safe and practical unlocking of the knife. The full-size EDC is extremely comfortable and well-balanced in the hand thanks to its high-strength aluminium handle with the characteristic recessed squares. Blue anodised rings on the blade pivot screw and the large handle screw as well as the thumb stud in the same colour give the Kihon Alu that extra flair. Suppled with a lanyard hole and a convertible tip-up wire clip for flexible carrying options.
