Ergonomic Powerhouse
Willy is the last fixed blade knife made by lionSTEEL in 2023. It is a pocket, EDC compact knife that features an M390 steel satin finished blade, joint into the SOLID® handle through a Titanium guard. The SOLID® handle is available in different variations, its ergonomics fit comfortably the hand palm of the final user and help to make precision works and carving. Willy is designed by Gianluigi “Wilson” Simonella, for his whole life a custom knife maker, artisan of raw materials and one of the Italian knife makers Corporation (CIC) founders.
Wilson
Gianluigi “Wilson” Simonella is an essential character for the artistic Italian knife environment. He’s a “made in Maniago” custom knife maker, founding member of the C.I.C. (Italian knife makers Corporation) and he manufactures the oldest tools of the world in his laboratory, using best steels and high-quality natural materials since the mid ‘80s. Wilson knives are single pieces handcrafted with original and minimal lines, and supplied with sheaths sewed by hand. Wilson Pickett used to put the “soul” in his music and in the same way Wilson puts soul into his knives.
