It has a wonderful look and a great feel to it. I have not yet tried it. Based on the steel and ergonomics, it should be fine.

Solid (even heavy) feel, balanced well with a tiny tilt toward the handle, and solidly constructed. The blade is a little thick at the spine, which, along with the grind, might make wood processing more difficult than it needs to be. I also have the Boker Savannah, which looks to be a better overall selection from the tree brand at slightly under two bills shipping.

This is a decent bushcraft knife, but it's quality is hindered by some unfortunate design choices.

The tang of the knife is bigger than the micarta scales, so it looks like a hamburger and the meat sticking out is a major hot spot.

The zero-edge gets micro chips on it, just from doing the most basic bushcrafting tasks.

I solved this by putting a micro bevel on it, but it wasn't that easy because the grind is way too steep.

Once I got it sharp, the knife performed great. Spine is super sharp out of the box and it scrapes fire steel like a champ.

I took it out for some more testing and then the handle broke while I was chopping some small tree branches. If I had taken this knife out camping, I would be absolutely screwed.

I can't recommend this knife.
Box came with a gash in it.
Too much work to do for a brand new knife.
Build quality is atrocious, inexcusable breakage.

Do not buy this knife.
