Purchased the Fizan PCT edition to have a spare set in event of pole breakage. I have had my original set of Fizan Compact 3's for 3 years now and they have performed flawlessly. Admittedly, I first purchased trekking poles to use with a trekking pole tent. While they perform that function well, at 71, I am amazed how much the use of poles has made my hiking much more comfortable on my knees and joints (not to mention preventing me from multiple falls over miles on often rocky trails). The twist locks on the Fizans work surprisingly well. They have never slipped during a hike and I've never experienced a problem with over-tightening. Lastly, the good looks of the PCT edition will likely put my original blue pair into a period of retirement.

I am happy to say the Kakwa 40 is a wonderful backpack. Loads of room and great support of loads. I can pack all my gear for multiday treks with extra room to spare.

I bought this as a companion to my full size mokuti penguin. The knife shipped very quickly and it’s AWESOME. The action is great. The knife is an eye catcher and is one of the center pieces of my collection.

Like all collaboration releases from Kaviso and QSP, it's fantastic. Beautiful piece from the Mars Valley fatcarbon to the anodized hardware. Can't go wrong.

This is my second titanium frame lock Penguin and it’s an even better deal than the first one I bought (black jigged titanium M390). My first knife with fat carbon - looks great, feels great in the hand, super snappy with tight lockup. Just big enough for a full grip and I’m always a fan of S35VN. At the price this is available I can’t think of a better knife deal.
