I Love The Kizer Sheepdog: Tall & Bold

The Kizer Sheepdog is one of my favorite knives, and I own about a dozen of them: some in the XL size (4 inch blade) and some in the Regular size (3.4 inch blade). I find the "Mini" size (2.6 inches) to be impractically tiny and silly, so I own none of those. I love the very tall height of the blade in relation to its length on the Sheepdogs. This Blue Anodized Titanium Regular size Sheepdog is a lovely knife which I have happily added to my Sheepdog collection. Although Frame Locks are not my favorite lock (too easy to lock yourself out preventing the blade from opening simply because you are holding the handle firmly... which you should always do, so that is a bit counterintuitive), and I prefer the Liner Lock and Axis Lock and Button Lock varieties... curiously, ALL of which are lock varieties available on selected other Sheepdog models, ... I nevertheless wanted one Titanium example in my Sheepdog collection, and that means the obligatory Frame Lock. Another noteworthy feature exclusive to the more expensive Titanium varieties of Sheepdog is the three diagonal slashes on the handle are cut all the way through the handle, revealing the blade inside when closed.... while they are merely three diagonal indentations on the Aluminum, Micarta, G10, and Carbon Fiber varieties.
