I'm well aware of Boker's tarnished reputation. I own several of their knives, and they are all good. On the other hand, the Urban Trapper is undeniably outstanding. It has a lovely VG-10 steel blade and is surprisingly light for its size. It was razor-sharp and exactly set when it arrived, with no blade play.
I like the knife, with the exception of the odd, looking clip. The knife is well-built, using VG-10 steel and a titanium liner lock that lacks a hardened steel inlay. This is a great option for people looking for a large EDC knife.
It's a razor-thin. Although it appears to be a little smaller than it should be, it is still rather nice. The edge, though, was not as sharp as it could have been.
