Affiliate Q&A
Easy! Simply place an order for the product you're hoping to review, and use your affiliate discount code on checkout. Your order will go through approval process, and once approved we'll ship the items your way.
First off, you do not want strikes on your account. Three strikes, and you're out of the program. But how do you get them?
There's a few reasons you could get a strike on your account, and the thing they all have in common is circumventing the spirit of our affiliate program. So here's some quick examples:
- Spam placing orders. The program is meant to allow people like yourself to share products with your communities. Placing orders for dozens of items isn't the way to go about that. Also orders shouldn't be placed when you still have unreturned goods (except in certain circumstances). Have an outlying circumstance? Then just reach out first!
- Not returning items. Sure, life happens and stuff comes up that may force you to hold onto an item longer than expected. But the item you have is meant to be reviewed and then sent back. Try to time it out so you don't need to hold onto the item for more than X days.
- Damaging items. For the most part, we've sent you a brand new item. It may have been opened by another reviewer, but we believe the item to be in the same condition any customer would receive. We expect you to send the item back to us in that same condition.
These are just some quick examples, and this list is not all encompassing. We'll always reach out to speak with you before potentially issuing a strike, and see if we can work through the reasoning behind our decision.
