Took advantage of sale.. timely

Took advantage of sale.. timely shipped to Canada.

Everything seems in order... stitching, seams etc...
- Comes packed quite small, and can be compressed even more.
- Very lightweight, with 'a little bit' of down fill.
* I didn't know what I was expecting, but there is shockingly less than I imagined "550 fill down" to be.
** picture is a bit of a misleading, as there isn't nearly as much POOF
* Bag does open up 4/5 of the way so could be used similar to a quilt.
* 2-way double zippers, so bottom area above footbox can be vent if all zipped up.
- Bought it for summer use (camping/travel) and I'll use in combo with a reactor liner on cooler evenings.

P.s. according to label:
9oz Fill consists of 79% duck down + 21 % polyester-fiber batting
Liner is 100% polyester (not nylon as stated) shell 100% nylon.

I haven't camped in decades...
I bought this to take to a mid-August festival overseas, and will most likely be investing in a X-mid 2 solid as my major backpacking investment to start.
I have yet to own a tent and the X-mid 2 seems to be a very sound investment, pack size, weight all appear more practical for trying to get everything down to a plane's carry on size.
Either way, I getting up there in age and shape so I do want to keep my relative weight down in that area.

So this bag, with a reactor-liner and a klymit trail blanket, along with a mat should be more than enough. The bag, liner and blanket still weigh less and take up less room compressed together than a synth bag on its own would.

I don't think bag is worth the regular price and don't know how well the product functions, but it looks and feels nice... just was expecting a little more POOF.

Cheers.
